On Obi Island, Indonesia,  crawler crane XGC500-I is hoisting 110 tons of hydrometallurgical pipes smoothly with a 48-meter standard heavy-duty main boom to assist the construction of Liqin's OBI project in Indonesia.

The OBI project of Liqin Indonesia is a key project of the "Belt and Road" initiative. After being put into operation, it can produce about 240,000 tons of nickel-cobalt intermediate products per year, which will further promote the comprehensive utilization of nickel ore resources.

The project adopts the mode of "Chinese design, Chinese equipment, and Chinese construction speed" to carry out project construction.  crawler cranes have helped OBI wet process project to build the first modern nickel-cobalt smelter in Indonesia, setting an industry record with the shortest construction and commissioning time, attracting worldwide attention.

It is understood that  XGC500-I is the crawler crane with the largest tonnage and the highest used crane on Obi Island. , equivalent to the weight of 90 main battle tanks.

In recent years,  crawler cranes have successively participated in the construction of key projects such as China-Malaysia Qinzhou Industrial Park, Nepal oil pipeline construction, and Ashdod port facility construction in the “Belt and Road Initiative”, and have gradually become the preferred brand trusted by customers.
