In July 2021, an Egyptian customer wanted to purchase a 3200 large pipe jacking machine for municipal projects. XCMG Pipe Jacking Machine Research Institute submitted the optimal configuration plan of XCMG XDN3200-R pipe jacking machine.

After two months of bid opening and bidding, XCMG’s XDN3200-R pipe jacking machine won the order. The XDN3200-R pipe jacking machine has a maximum outer diameter of 4.06m, and the weight of the head alone is 90t, but the delivery time is only 60 days.

On a cold winter night, the pipe jacking machine assembly workshop is brightly lit, and it rotates 24 hours a day. The assembly workers work together to make the assembly process tense and orderly. However, there are still some minor problems: the sealing ring with a diameter of nearly 700mm has 5 layers, and the assembly is very tight. The copper rod for the sealing end cover is also difficult to pry, and the seal will be damaged if you are not careful. The manufacturing department finally decided to use it. In a purely manual way, the end cap was brought down with a nut and a wrench in a circle. After three and a half hours, it was finally completed.

On November 10th, after several days and nights of hard work and debugging, the XDN3200-R pipe jacking machine was ready to ship.
